His recent visit to US has bolstered Pakistan’s image internationally
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir’s recent visit to the United States has been hailed as a significant diplomatic success for Pakistan, as global recognition of Pakistan’s counterterrorism stance gains momentum.
Security sources said the visit not only bolstered Pakistan’s image internationally but also played a pivotal role in exposing India’s alleged involvement in sponsoring terrorism.
They credited the Field Marshal’s strategic military diplomacy for the United States' decision to designate Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and the Majeed Brigade as foreign terrorist organizations.
This move is being seen as an endorsement of Pakistan’s long-standing claims regarding India’s covert operations targeting Pakistan’s sovereignty and internal stability.
Sources stated that India’s intelligence agency, RAW, has maintained direct links with these banned outfits, offering financial aid, logistical support, and even medical treatment for militants within Indian territory.

The recent US action, officials believe, has helped unveil India’s support for armed insurgent groups operating within Pakistan.
The security sources further noted that Indian media platforms, particularly those aligned with government narratives, have actively attempted to justify the actions of these terrorist groups. Senior Indian officials, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, have openly acknowledged their association with elements operating in Balochistan.
Additionally, the arrest of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav is cited by Pakistani authorities as irrefutable evidence of state-sponsored terrorism conducted by India.
The security sources said India's alleged terror-backed strategy poses a threat not only to regional peace but also to global security. They urged the international community to take a stronger stance against such activities.
