Around 40 PTI workers were holding a conference in Hostel City regarding the sit-in plan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Police have registered a case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers for allegedly planning a sit-in on August 14.
The case, filed at Shehzad Town Police Station, includes charges under the Public Order Act along with eight other sections. PTI workers had earlier been arrested from the Shehzad Town area.
According to the FIR, around 40 PTI workers were holding a conference in Hostel City regarding the sit-in plan when police raided the location. The workers were allegedly armed with banners and sticks and chanted provocative slogans.

The FIR further stated that PTI workers intended to join the sit-in on August 14 and resisted police action, even attempting to charge at the officers.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has called on the public to take to the streets on August 14 to demand “true freedom,” condemning what he described as an unlawful and oppressive system.
