KARACHI (Dunya News) – First Lady and MNA Aseefa Bhutto Zardari met British High Commissioner Jane Marriott at Bilawal House on Wednesday.

The two sides discussed a wide range of issues, including mutual interests and joint efforts in areas such as education, health, women’s empowerment, and youth development.

Aseefa Bhutto praised the British Prime Minister's stance on the Gaza situation, calling it “commendable” and emphasized the need to push for peace around the globe.

During the meeting, they also talked about ways to lift women up in society and improve services in health and education.

Both sides showed keen interest in working together to bring lasting change, especially in areas that directly affect people’s lives.

The British High Commissioner was accompanied by Deputy High Commissioner Lance Domm and Political Advisor Huda Ikram.

On the Pakistani side, Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho, MNA Shazia Marri, and MPA Qasim Soomro also joined the meeting.
