President vows to rid Constitution of anti-democratic provisions

President Asif Ali Zardari has said that dictators needed to be punished even after they were dead and July 5 will always be remembered as one of the darkest days in the history of Pakistan. He said these words in message for Black day referring to July 05 when General Zia-ul-Haq overtook the democratic government and obligated martial law. President Asif Ali Zardari said that the chain to demolish democracy was started from 1977 and it shows us that how a dictator nurtured the extremists for his own political perpetuity and how another dictator used these extremists for the same purpose in a new way. President vowed to eliminate the constitutional terms changed by the dictators.
