July 5 is the lamentable day of constitutional history, CJ Iftikhar Mohammad Ch. said. Human rights were banished 32 years ago from today, constitution was suspended and democratic activities were made vulnerable. Addressing with conference upon National Judicial Policy CJ said that after 32 years all the provincial representatives are promising to establish the government of law, constitution and democratic system. He said that in the past, judiciary always fell short from peoples expectations. Cases were in abeyance and judiciary was pointed for currption. CJ said that estate departments will have to play an important role for this policy. Judges of district courts are working in difficult conditions. Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Khalil Rahman Ramday, Justice Rana Bhagwan Das, Justice Raza and Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jilani presented their recommendations for the judicial policy.
