PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Opposition leader Omar Ayub has criticised the government's performance, stating that there is no governance in the country.
He highlighted various issues, claiming that industries were non-functional, two million people have left the country, and farmers in Punjab have not been able to sell their wheat.
He also criticised the government for repeatedly imposing internet restrictions, which he said has deterred investment in the IT sector.
Ayub further lamented the non-compliance of the constitution and the law, mentioning that he has been attending hearings at the Peshawar High Court for the past three days. "I feel like setting up a tent here, given how frequently I have to come," he remarked.
He also alleged that false cases have been registered against him, including one for biscuit theft in Hasan Abdal, after previously being accused in seven motorcycle theft cases.
