Naheed, Raja Pervez acquitted in court rumpus case

The court acquitted Raja Pervez Ashraf and Naheed Khan in Rawalpindi High Court rumpus case.

The case was registered against dozens of PPP workers including former minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Naheed Khan and Shahzada Kausar Gilani in 1998.They were accused of rumpus in the court and throwing ink on Judge during hearing of a NAB reference against Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari. Raja Pervez Asharaf and Naheed Khan were declared absconders in this case however, later on; Raja Pervez was given exemption in court presence after his application.the Judicial Magistrate has issued permanent arrest warrant of accused Shahzada Kausar Gilani on his continuous absence.
