ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has said that today makes a historic moment as the unfinished agenda of the Chartered of Democracy (CoD) has been completed.

Addressing the Senate session, he credited all parties for the passage of constitutional amendment, highlighting the joint efforts of the PML-N and PPP to achieve consensus.

Dar emphasised the aim to provide quick and affordable justice to the common man.

He praised Maulana Fazalur Rehman for his efforts in building consensus while noting that PTI’s decision to remain outside the process was their choice.

He congratulated his colleagues on the amendments approval and expressed hope for its passage from the National assembly as well.

PTI’s Aamir Dogar also endorsed the amendments in the parliamentary committee, emphasising that it is not a personal agenda but a collective effort.
