Shah Farman steps down as senior advisor to KP CM
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Former Governor Shah Farman on Sunday tendered his resignation as senior advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister.
The CM appointed him as the senior advisor on political affairs a few days ago.
He said he was grateful to the chief minister for appointing him as the senior advisor. However, he highlighted that he was also a member of the accountability committee formulated by the PTI founder. As its member he said he had to keep a watchful eye on the performance of the provincial government.
The post of senior advisor could affect my performance and role in the committee.
For that reason he said he had resigned from the post.
