UK high commissioner approves £10 million aid for flood-hit areas

ISLAMBAD (Dunya News) – The UK high commission has approved a £10 million funding package to assist Pakistan in dealing with the aftermaths of recent floods.
The announcement highlights that the heavy rains have resulted in over 350 deaths and more than 650 injuries, damaging over 78,000 homes.

The aid will support recovery efforts in 13 affected districts includes temporary shelter, essential supplies, and cash aid, with a focus on restoring drinking water, sanitations, irrigation removing debris.
