ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Umar Sultan, the missing former security chief of ex-prime minister Imran Khan, has returned home.
The Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq, held a hearing on a petition regarding Sultan's recovery, during which lawyer Fayyaz Kundwal informed the court of Sultan's return.
The lawyer stated that they intended to present Sultan in court but he was not well enough.
Chief Justice Farooq remarked that since the citizen has returned, he inquired what the petitioners wanted next.
The lawyer responded that they expected a thorough investigation, noting that an FIR had already been registered.
The court subsequently ordered an independent investigation and dismissed the case regarding Sultan's recovery.
