Dar stresses comprehensive Seerat learning in education system
Pakistan
Says we have to fill the gaps where we lack
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said on Tuesday that Seerat-un-Nabi should be taught at length in our education system.
He made these remarks during Seerat-ul-Nabi Conference held in Islamabad. The deputy premier said today was a very important day for Muslims and he wanted to congratulate the whole ummah on this occasion, adding that it’s a very delightful day for every Muslim across the globe.
“Our education system should promote more learning on Seerat-un-Nabi as Islam has stressed the need of learning Seerat-ul-Nabi,” he remarked.
”The non-Islamic countries acted upon the principles of justice which guaranteed prosperity there. We also have to fill the gaps where we lack,” he added.
Speaking about former premier Nawaz Sharif’s tenures, the deputy PM said Pakistan went onto the path of progress many times but “invisible hands” derailed the process.
