Fire erupts in forests near Khanpur Hazara

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Fire erupted in forests near Khanpur Hazara in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday which engulfed a sizeable area, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the fire fueled by gusty winds travelled fast and also reached the mountains in Sarikot and Ghazi areas, destroying trees on several acres.
Sources said that the raging fire is reaching the residential areas. The villagers were busy putting out the fire on self-help basis, but strong winds were complicating their effort.
