The court summoned the sector commanders of spy agencies
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered the live streaming of all the cases of missing persons.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani of IHC on Friday issued the written order in the case of missing Kashmiri poet Ahmed Farhad Shah.
The court summoned the sector commanders of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Military Intelligence (MI), the director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), law minister and secretary defence on May 29.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani conducted the hearing on the case of missing poet Ahmed Farhad. Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Mansoor Usman Awan and DIG Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi appeared before the court.

“Is it the failure of state,” questioned Justice Kayani. The state hasn’t failed yet as the authorities are trying to recover the missing poet, replied Attorney General Mansoor Awan.
The IHC ordered the defence secretary to appear before the court on the next hearing to explain the working of ISI. “The law and order situation is alarming. There is a dire need of transparency in the working of ISI,” the court observed.
“How many officials are working under a sector commander,” the court asked and added that a mechanism would now be made for the recovery of missing persons.
Ahmed Farhad Shah had been allegedly abducted from his home on May 15.
