Siraj thinks election results determined using some 'mathematical formula'
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq stated on Tuesday that it appeared that the election results were not based on vote count, but on mathematical formula.
In a statement, Siraj asserted that his party would use all constitutional and democratic means to expose rigging.
He impressed upon the political parties committed to democracy to continue playing their role in safeguarding democracy and the constitution.
Siraj questioned why nation was made a laughing stock if selection was to be made under the guise of electoral process. In election, it's not merely about winning or losing, but about upholding the rights of the people, he emphasised.
The JI chief warned that a government formed as a result of rigging would never be able to address the issues facing the populace.
