PTI’s Sardar Latif Khosa speaks to JI deputy emir Liaquat Baloch
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) once again came closer to form the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Centre.
PTI’s senior leader Sardar Latif Khosa contacted JI deputy emir Liaquat Baloch to discuss the political situation.
Earlier, the PTI was interested in forming government in KP with the support of the JI but the latter wanted to expand the power-sharing formula to the Centre.
Speaking to Baloch over telephone, Khosa said he would again reach out to the JI leadership after meeting the PTI founder.
The JI deputy emir said the doors of dialogue were always open between the political parties.

“We’ll let you know the time and venue for the meeting after discussing the matter with the top leadership,” JI’s spokesperson Qaiser Sharif responded.
