MIANWALI (Dunya News) – Police have repulsed a terrorist attack at Qabul Khel check post here and forced the terrorists to flee after a gun battle.
According to police, around a dozen terrorists attacked the check post from three sides in the wee hours of Monday. They escaped when police force returned the fire.
Police have launched a search operation in the area to arrest the terrorists.
Meanwhile, Punjab Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar commended the bravery of his force for foiling the terrorist attack.
He said the Punjab police had always defended border areas and would not allow terrorists to create unrest in the country.
