Caretaker FM affirms commitment to strengthen ties with Afghanistan
ISLAMABAD (APP) – Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on Wednesday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining continued engagement and fostering mutually beneficial ties with Afghanistan.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the foreign minister shared that he had a productive meeting with Mullah Shirin, the governor of Kandahar.
Jilani also emphasised the importance of addressing all issues to unlock the full potential for trade and connectivity between the two countries.

FM Jilani, Rwandan defence chief discuss bilateral ties:
Rwanda's Chief of Defence Staff Lieutenant General Mubarakh Muganaga called on caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani here on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the strengthening of bilateral ties, capacity building and fostering increased collaboration in trade, as stated in a Foreign Office statement.
They also emphasised the significant contribution of the Pakistani diaspora to Rwanda’s development.
