Pakistan dispatches humanitarian aid for Palestinians via Egypt
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan on Thursday dispatched the first consignment carrying relief assistance for the oppressed people of Palestine.
A chartered aircraft carrying 100 tonnes of essential medical supplies, tents and blankets departed from Islamabad this afternoon, the Foreign Office said.
According to Radio Pakistan, the relief assistance, including 1,000 winter tents, 4,000 blankets and three tonnes of medicines, will reach Palestine via Egypt.
The assistance, sent by the Pakistan Army and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), will provide an immediate relief to the affected people of Gaza.

Expressing Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinians, the Foreign Office said Pakistan was standing by its Palestinian brothers and sisters and would continue to support them.

At least 3,785 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in Israeli strikes since Oct 7, the Health Ministry in Gaza said Thursday.
It comes as four more residential buildings were struck by Israeli air raids, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
