Mohsin Naqvi meets French ambassador to discuss bilateral ties
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab caretaker chief minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday met French Ambassador Nicolas Galle in which matters of mutual interest, promotion of bilateral cooperation and increasing cooperation in various fields were discussed.
Naqvi said there were excellent friendly relations between Pakistan and France, mentioning there was a need to promote relations between the two countries in economic, commercial and other fields on a sustainable basis.
He said he would welcome France's cooperation in providing training in management skills to provincial officers and medical superintendents of hospitals, and wanted to utilise France's expertise in energizing the agricultural sector for increasing production
Naqvi further said he was grateful to France for supporting the programme of restoration of historical buildings while adding the Punjab government had given the task of restoration of five more historical buildings to the Walled City of Lahore Authority.
On this occasion, French Ambassador Nicolas Galle said he would further increase cooperation with the Punjab government in the programme of restoration of the historical buildings.
