Asad Mehmood fires a broad at PTI
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Communications Maulana Asad Mehmood on Sunday took a dig at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying the embattled party will be held accountable.
Addressing an event, Asad lamented, "The previous government had broken the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). However, our government had reached an agreement with the international lender".
"Not a single initiative for the benefit of the country had been started under the PTI-led government. The inflation in the country was brought on by the PTI-led government", he asserted.
"The journey we had started under the prime minister's supervision turning out to be fruitful," Asad commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
