CHICHAWATNI (Dunya News) - Former Governor Punjab and organizer of the Muslim League Q (PML-Q) Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar while addressing a presser in Chichawatni said that the domestic issue of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Chaudhry Shujaat is nearing resolution.
Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the horrendous events of May 9 are a national tragedy and we strongly condemn them. The individuals involved in the May 9 incident must be punished, however the innocent should be spared.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that democracy cannot flourish until the dictatorship within political parties is uprooted. When one is in power, he has different values than in opposition, there are a lot of discrepancies in this regard.
He said that it is unfortunate for our country that the people in power become fond of flattery and hence are misguided that everything is fine outside, which is contrary to the reality. He said that the family issue of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is near resolution and soon a breakthrough is probable.
