Gilani heaps praise on Benazir Bhutto

Negotiation between all political stakeholders required: Gilani
MULTAN (Dunya News) - Pakistan People's Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Tuesday hailed Benazir Bhutto, saying she was the first woman prime minister in the Muslim world.
Speaking to media following Ms Bhutto's cake-cutting ceremony, Mr Gilani said, "Benazir Bhutto and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif had signed the charter of democracy."
In reference to the May 9 mayhem, Mr Gilani said, "Attacking the military installations is a tantamount to attacking the country."
The negotiation between all of the political stakeholders is urgently required, he maintained.
Speaking on his party's struggle, Mr Gilani said, "The PPP's struggle began during the administration of Ayub Khan".
