Two minor girls were drowned while bathing in River Sindh in Battagram.

BATTAGRAM (Dunya News) – Two minor girls were drowned while bathing in River Sindh in Battagram, a city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, on Saturday, Dunya News reported.

According to details, five-year-old Khazina and her seven-year-old cousin Tanzila, residents of Thakot village near Battagram, were bathing in the River Indus when they mistakenly slipped into the deep water and drowned.

Local resident gathered at the site of the incident and launched a search operation on self-help basis. However, the bodies of the downed girls were still not found.
