IHC orders the release of Shah Mehmood Qureshi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a significant development, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb, presiding over the case at the Islamabad High Court, imposed a conditional release for Shah Mehmood Qureshi, requiring the submission of an affidavit by his legal representatives.
Today, during the court proceedings, Mr Qureshi's lawyers successfully filed the necessary affidavit, satisfying the court's conditions.
As a result, Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be granted his release from custody.
