NAB directs Shahzad Akbar to bring documents related to Al-Qadir Trust case
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday summoned ex-prime minister Imran Khan's adviser for accountability and interior Shahzad Akbar in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The accountability watchdog issued a fresh notice to Mr Akbar and ordered him to appear before the NAB on May 22 at 11:30 am.
Mr Akbar was directed to bring with him all the relevant documents in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case.
Earlier today, the sources divulged that NAB Rawalpindi had personally summoned Imran Khan on May 18 in the Al-Qadir Trust case. In connection with the case, NAB sent a questionnaire to Mr Khan.
On Friday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on granted bail to former prime minister Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case, barring the authorities from arresting him till May 17.
