Ms Aurangzeb questions CJ's mother-in-law's role

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb announced on Monday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would not accept the decision of the chief justice if given under the pressure of his mother-in-law.

The minister criticized Imran Khan, calling him a criminal and stating that he had to put a canister on his face while appearing before the court.

Ms Aurangzeb accused Imran Khan of disrespecting the judiciary and dissolving assemblies when Gen.® Qamar Bajwa told him to.

The federal minister claimed that Imran Khan threatened a female judge but still got a bail package from the court.

She stressed that PML-N would not accept the CJ's decision if given under the pressure of his mother-in-law and not on the basis of the constitution.

Ms Aurangzeb assured that the government would not let anyone mock the constitution again.

She questioned the mother-in-law of the chief justice, stating that what kind of mother-in-law would become a spokesperson for those who hit their son-in-law's pictures with their footwear.

The federal minister stated that when the constitution and justice become subject to foreign agents, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, children, and mother-in-law, the country suffers the imposed thief, liar, and fitna like Imran Khan.

She added that the elections would be held on time and not on the opinion of Bajwa or the CJ's mother-in-law.
