Muslims across country gear up to celebrate Eid with traditional fervour
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The local unofficial moon-sighting headed by Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai announced on Thursday to celebrate Eidul Fitr on the same day (Saturday) in the country.
A meeting of the local unofficial meeting was held in Peshawar's Qasim Ali Khan Mosque under the chairmanship of Mufti Popalzai.
After the meeting, Mr Popalzai announced that the moon of the month of Shawwal was not seen in any area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, so Eidul Fitr will be held on April 22.
It should be noted that this year Ramazan started simultaneously across the country, and now Eid will also be celebrated on the same day.
