ECP refutes false reports of review petition regarding Punjab elections

The case regarding the Punjab elections is currently being heard by Supreme Court
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday denied reports that it has filed a review petition in the Supreme Court regarding the Punjab elections.
The spokesperson of ECP clarified that the news is completely false and the ECP had not taken any such decision.
The case regarding the Punjab elections is currently being heard by Supreme Court.
The court had earlier ordered that the polls be held on May 14th, but the government of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) refused to release funds for the elections.
