High-level transfers, postings in Punjab amid political uncertainty

Various officers were suspended and made OSDs

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The interim set-up of Punjab once again made decisions regarding the transfer and postings of high-level officials.

In the latest development, Secretary literacy Wajihullah Kundi and secretary population Salman Ijaz were removed from their post and made officers on special duty (OSD). In their positions, Syed Haider Iqbal and Ali Jan Khan were appointed respectively.

Ahmed Ali Kamboh was made secretary law, Iftikhar Ali Sahu appointed secretary irrigation and Irfan Ahmed Sindhu was appointed secretary regulation Punjab.

Tariq Qureshi was appointed as member of board of revenue after replacing him with Saqib Manan, Rashid ul Rehma was given the post of DG labour in place of Muhammad Arshad Manzoor, Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas was appointed member consolidation board of revenue, Ahmed Mustajab Karamat was made secretary human rights, Ambreen Sajid was appointed member of the CM inspection team.

Tayyab Farid was made special secretary housing, Muhammad Ahmed special secretary CM office, Muhammad Anas Iqbal appointed deputy secretary finance, Jamil Ahmed Jamil was made DG Quaid-e-Azam Academy and Agha Zaheer Iqbal was made special secretary schools South Punjab.

Tariq Kareem Khokhar was appointed additional secretary agriculture, Muhammad Sajid Bashir appointed special secretary local government, Kanwal Sabir was made deputy secretary schools, Zahid Parvez was appointed deputy secretary interior and Tauqir Ahmed was appointed senior instructor at
Management and Professional Development Department (MPDD).
