One killed, 11 injured in road accidents in Sheikhupura, Pattoki

Rescue teams have shifted the dead and injured to nearby hospitals.
SHEIKHUPURA/PATTOKI (Dunya News) – One person was killed and 11 other were wounded in two separate road accidents in Sheikhupura and Pattoki on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the first accident occurred in Sheikhupura near Qurshi Interchange at the Sialkot Motorway where a car overturned due to over-speeding, killing one person on the spot and injuring one other person.
Rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. According to rescue sources, the deceased was identified as 65-year-old Azam.
The second accident occurred at the Pattoki-Multan Road in Pattoki where a speeding but hit a truck from behind after its driver lost control of the vehicle due to which 10 persons sustained injuries.
The ill-fated bus was traveling to Lahore from Okara. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Pattoki.
