RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Security forces on Tuesday killed three terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Bannu.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an IBO in the general area Nurar on the reported presence of terrorists. “During the conduct of the operation, fierce fire exchange took place between troops and terrorists. Resultantly, all three terrorists were sent to hell,” the statement added.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, the military’s media wing stated.
The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent citizens.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area.
