MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that there was no place for criminals in the party.

Talking to the members of Co-ordination Committee, Altaf Hussain said that the MQM was a peace loving political party that believes in democratic principles and peaceful struggle. He said that there was no room for criminals in the MQM.Altaf said that after thorough investigation and inquiry, MQM expelled those party workers who were found involved in any type of criminal activity.He said that maintenance of discipline was important for MQM and no leniency would be shown to anyone, even if he was a member of the Co-ordination Committee.Altaf concluded that there was no place for criminals in the MQM yesterday and there is no place for such elements even today and in the future.
