Interim CM Azam Khan takes notice of petrol shortage
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caretaker Chief Minister Azam Khan took the notice of the scarcity of petrol that emerged in the province after rumors of the increase in prices spreaded.
The interim CM ordered the chief secretary to demand the detailed reports from the deputy commissioners of the province while mentioning there should not be any deficiency of petrol.
He said those creating the problems for the people must be held accountable and directed the officials to provide relief to the people.
It is mentioned there were rumors of the increase in the price of petrol due to the recent hike in the dollar and therefore, the petrol pump owners reduced the sale of petrol in the province.
