Remaining stock should be immediately returned to companies, DRAP instructs pharmacists
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has issued a warning instructing to remove substandard medications from the market right away after finding 50 mg of Feinber and Mefco medicines to be substandard.
The batch number 2752 of the Finbar 50 mg tablets and the batch number 21053 of Mefco 50 MG tablets have both reportedly been deemed poor by Drap Dunya News reorted.
The remaining stock of these batches of medications should be immediately returned to the companies, according to DRAP s instructions to all pharmacists and chemists.
The Drug Regulatory Authority adds that efforts to remove inferior drugs from the market have been stepped up.
