Wahab Riaz to take oath as caretaker Punjab sports minister
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Left-arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz named on Thursday as Sports Minister in the newly formed caretaker Punjab government.
Mr Riaz had to leave the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) to assume the office. He bagged 12 wickets in the tournament in just six matches.
It was in 2020, Mr Riaz represented the national team for the last time.
Mr Riaz had represented the national team in 27 Tests, 91 ODIs and 36 T20Is.
