Bogus FIRs lodged against us, claim Wajahat Hussain and Moosa Elahi
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Wajahat Hussain and Moosa Elahi said on Wednesday bogus First Information Reports (FIRs) were lodged against them.
Sources told both leaders claimed that FIRs were lodged against them upon government’s will. "They have decided to move the Lahore High Court against the FIR", sources added.
Earlier, audio leaks surfaced on social media which entailed an alleged conversation between Mr Hussain and Mr Elahi pertaining to the abduction of female parliamentarians ahead of the saga of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vote of confidence in the National Assembly.
