Blaze forces shutting down of Parliament House for three days

Senate session which was scheduled to be held today has also been postponed till 11:00am on Thursday
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A blaze caused by short-circuit forces the authorities to shut down Parliament House building for three days, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani and the Speaker of the National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf have taken notice of the situation. They have instructed the concerned secretaries to immediately solve the problem by sealing the Parliament House building immediately and check the electric wiring of the building.
According to a statement issued by the Senate Secretariat, there was no loss of life or property in the incident, however, all the Parliament House building will be inspected as a precaution.
Sources also informed that the Senate session which was scheduled to be held today (Monday) has also been postponed till 11:00am on Thursday on the directives issued by Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani.
