Gas supply to Quetta halts after miscreants blow major pipeline
BOLAN (Web Desk) - The gas supply to Quetta and surroundings halted after some miscreants blew up a 12-inch gas pipeline near Sirajabad in Bolan on Tuesday night.
Bolan Deputy Commissioner Samiullah Agha told reporters that the incident of sabotage happened around 8pm. The suspects used explosives to explode the pipeline. He said the law enforcers had launched search to identify the elements behind the incident.
The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) officials said some parts including Quetta won t be able to receive gas and that the gas pressure would also remain low in the next 48 hours.
