3.3 magnitude earthquake jolts Mirpur, adjoining areas

MIRPUR (Dunya News) - An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale jolted Mirpur and its adjoining areas in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on late Sunday night, Dunya News reported.
According the details garnered, tremors were also felt in different parts of Azad Kashmir including Bhimber, Kotli, Dadyal and other areas.
People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life and property was reported from any part of Mirpur due to earthquake.
According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, the epicenter of the earthquake was located near Mirpur, Azad Kashmir at the depth of seven kilometres.
