Imran moves LHC against ECP’s decision challenging his chairmanship
LAHORE ( Dunya News ) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has challenged the proceedings of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against him before the Lahore High Court.
The former premier said in his petition that the ECP was going beyond its mandate to dismiss him as the party chairman, while also mentioning the notice by the ECP was also illegal. He contended that the ECP had started legal proceedings against him on Dec 7, 2022 despite the fact that he disclosed all his assets. He requested the LHC to suspend ECP s notice against him.
