Tessori urges PPP to fulfill its promises
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori urged on Sunday the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to fulfil the promises it made to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
Speaking to the media after visiting Datar Darbar, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that spiritual peace had been gained by visiting Datar Darbar. Stressing the need for consensus, Mr Tessori said that consensus instead of hypocrisy was the most important requirement of the time, and that all political parties should work together for the betterment of the country.
Saying that the MQM-P had informed Prime Minister Shehbaz about its concerns, adding that the PM assured that talks would be held with Asif Ali Zardari and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over the MQM-P’s concerns.
Mr Tessori said, "The meetings were held with Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman and Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi. I have prayed for Karachi, and also for Lahore."
According to the details, Mr Tessori visited the Data Darbar in Lahore, where he recited Fateha and laid flowers in the Data Darbar.
