Two more Pakistani cities added to UAE’s no visit visa list
KARACHI (Dunya News) – United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday added two more cities to the list of Pakistani cities whose residents are barred from getting visit visas.
Spokesperson of Pakistan Overseas Employment Association (POEA) Adnan Paracha said the total number had reached to 24 after the addition of two more cities. The UAE authorities have taken this step as travel agents across the country help citizens get visit visas in the disguise of employment. The authorities had deported those entrants too.
Initially, UAE’s immigration authorities added 12 Pakistani cities to the visit visa prohibition list, then the list was extended to 22 and now two more have been included.
Following is the list of cities whose residents will not be granted UAE visit visas
Punjab:
Dera Ghazi Khan, Khushab, Muaffargarh, Sargodha, Attock, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Chakwal
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:
Abbottabad, Dera Ismail Khan, Kurram Agency, Bajaur Agency, Parachinar, Mohmand Agency, Hangu, Kohat
Sindh:
Larkana, Nawabshah, Sukkur
Balochistan:
Quetta
Federal Territoy:
Skardu (Gilgit-baltistan), Hunza (GB), Kotli (Azad Jammu and Kashmir)
