Death toll from monsoon rains, floods in Balochistan climbs to 325

Floods in Balochistan destroyed over 75,000 houses while 150,000 houses were partially damaged.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – The death toll from the recent monsoon rains and floods in different parts of Balochistan has climbed to 325 as two more persons died on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
As per Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), death toll from recent monsoon rains and floods in different parts of Balochistan has risen to 325, including 147 men, 80 women and 98 children, while 186 persons have been injured.
The PDMA reported that over 20,027 houses were completely destroyed while 52,208 houses were partially damaged by the recent rains and floods in the province.
The PDMA reported that 2,378 km length of roads and 54 bridges were damaged due to the floods. The PDMA is conducting relief operations in the affected districts.
