Dua Zahra Case: SHC seeks reply from institutions

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday while summoning CDR report from the husband of Dua Zahra, sought report from the institutions on the plea filed by Mehdi Kazmi.

Mehdi Kazmi approached the SHC in light of the medical report of his daughter.

The petition stated that the medical board had declared Dua Zahra’s age between 14 and 15 years, according to which marriage cannot take place in Punjab and Zaheer has contracted a child marriage.

The court issued notices to Health department, home department, IG Sindh, Zaheer Ahmed for July 21.

The court also summoned a CDR report of Zaheer’s activities between April 15 and April 19.

The court also ordered the investigation officer to present a supplementary challan on July 20.
