ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Dr Arif Alvi has expressed concern over the attack on senior journalist and analyst Ayaz Amir by unidentified assailants in Lahore on Friday, Dunya News reported.
In a statement, President Dr Arif Alvi said incidents of violence against journalists were contrary to the democratic values and the freedom of expression.
President Dr Arif Alvi said immediate arrest of culprits behind attack on the senior journalist should be ensured.
