PTI Karachi: MPA Bilal Ghaffar lodges FIR against fellow MPA

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi president and Sindh Assembly member Bilal Ahmed Ghaffar on Wednesday has lodged FIR against his party’s MPA Malik Shehzad.

Bilal Ghaffar said that MPA Malik Shehzad reached his house last night along with 70 to 80 people and tortured his guards and employees.

The FIR was lodged at Tipu Sultan police station and provisions for the attack, assault and causing harm were included in FIR.

On the other hand, Malik Shehzad said that Bilal Ghaffar is like my brother but some concerns were raised among us over local body elections and he has contacted him, adding that the matter will be resolved soon.

It is pertinent to mention that in November 2021, Karachi Judicial Magistrate Gharbi ordered the arrest of Malik Shehzad in a case of entering a citizen’s house and threatening him.

Earlier in March 2021, Malik Shehzad Awan had also submitted his resignation to Haleem Adil Sheikh expressing reservations over the issuance of tickets to Amjad Afridi on NA-249.
