PPP senior leader Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro passes away in US
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader and Senator Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro passed away in the United States on Saturday.
The Sindh government has also confirmed the death of Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro.
According to sources, Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment abroad.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) sources said that Sikandar Mandhro had been undergoing treatment in a US hospital for two months. While the family says that his body will be brought to Pakistan.
President expresses grief over Dr Mandhro’s death
President Dr Arif Alvi expressed his deep grief over the death of PPP Senator Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro.
In his condolence message, the president expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. He prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.
Sindh CM offers condolences to deceased’s family
The Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has also expressed grief over the demise of PPP Senator. The Sindh CM telephoned the deceased’s son Zakaria Mandhro and offered condolences on the death of his father.
Murad Ali Shah appreciated the services of Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro for the party.
