KPK Local Body Elections: Bilawal requests ECP to approach SC

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has requested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to approach the Supreme Court (SC) on the postponement of the second phase of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in his statement that, “Imran Khan is running away from the local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the context of postponing the elections under the guise of weather after the failure in the first phase.”
He further stated that, “We will not provide PTI the chance to escape from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local body elections. The people of KPK will hold Imran Khan accountable for his corruption and step by step demonstrations of incompetence.”
