Dense fog continues to blanket plain areas of Punjab

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Dense fog has again blanketed several cities of Punjab including Lahore on night between Tuesday and Wednesday, badly disrupting the road traffic and paralysing routine life, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the visibility has dropped due to dense fog on main roads in plain areas across the province as a result Motorway (M2) from Thokar Niaz Baig to Kot Momin, Motorway M3 from Faizpur to Samundari, Motorway M5 from Sher Shah Interchange to Jalalpur have been closed at for all kind of traffic while Motorway M4 from Pindi Bhattian to Abdul Hakim has been closed for heavy traffic.
The Motorway police have appealed the drivers to use Grand Trunk (GT) Road for travelling. They have also urged the drivers to drive slowly and switch on fog lights.
